Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accounting Manager to join our client's finance team. As the Assistant Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting in financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Stay updated on changes in accounting practices and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.

Audit Support: Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation, reconciliations, and explanations of financial transactions.

General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Month-End and Year-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

Financial Analysis: Provide analysis of financial data, trends, and variances to help identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, assisting in the development of financial projections and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
  • Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational company or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
