AS400 developer- Global Insurance firm; perm role; up to 40K
Our client is a reputable insurance firm with great business performance in APAC. Currently their IT department is expanding and they are eager to hire several new talented AS400 Developer to support the growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Major involvement in system development. System development activities include capturing user requirements, feasibility study, conducting system and database design, programming, preparing system integration testing plan and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing maintenance and production support to implement application systems.
- Cross-train team members in application systems team.
- Participate in the research and evaluation of new technology to meet business strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
- Participate in system development, maintenance and implementation
- University degree or diploma holder in computer studies
- Hands-on experience in IT development, preferably in insurance system
- Candidates should have solid experience in AS400 RPG and CL.
