Actuarial Valuation - Associate & Senior Manager, Valuation (2 headcounts)
Our client is a global insurer and they would like to expand their valuation actuarial team to support the business. You will have great exposure to HK RBC and Asset-Liability Management as well.
You will be responsible:
To support/ lead the team of valuation actuaries to support the BAU functions and provide technical support to revamp and streamline the valuation model
Prepare valuation and financial reporting requirements in HK and US bases
Assist in year-end audit and preparation of regulatory filings
Prepare the business plan projection and forecast
Assist in HKRBC and IFRS17 transition
Participate in valuation processes to ensure compliance with local regulatory regimes, company internal guidelines and SOX requirement
Enhance and streamline valuation model and workflow
Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science or related disciplines
Minimum 1 year of experience for the associate role and 5 years of experience for the Senior manager role
Experienced in using Actuarial software (use of Prophet is a plus)
Good communication and interpersonal skills with good command of both English and Chinese
