Our clients Technology department provides information technology services and telephony to over 2000 internal users, and also supports a visitor experience operations 7 days per week across various digital platforms. Services are delivered across the 4 main sites along with 2 further UK based office/art storage sites. Furthermore, some infrastructure services are provided to a commercial arm which operates retail shops along with catering. The department also includes an Audio Visual services team who support media based art installations, corporate events and internal audio visual service provision.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a "can do" attitude and thrive on delivering results. This role demands an understanding of logical and physical, network architectures including TCP/IP, routing, switching, security, servers and cloud networking and a willingness to learn about their application. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact within the 3rd line team, therefore demonstrating a multi-disciplined approach to technological activities with energy and passion.
Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure and Architecture and working closely with a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, the Infrastructure Engineer will provide first class support and delivery of the network pertaining to data networks, LAN/WAN, telephony systems, network security and wireless networks, escalating to the Senior Infrastructure Engineer where appropriate.
