We worked with Spire Healthcare, the UK’s second largest Private Healthcare supplier, to help build their new Digital Marketing team. Due to our long-standing relationship, we understood their unique employer brand and the types of individuals they look to hire.
Digital Marketing was a very new concept to the healthcare industry, so the client required a team with a lot of experience to come in and build from scratch. This meant we needed to sell the industry to candidates and attract them to the role. In total, we had 12 vacancies to fill over two separate projects. Whilst previous experience and skill sets were important, the client made it clear that it was crucial we find people who’d be a good cultural fit for the company.
Through a bigger market mapping & headhunting exercise, we identified 300 relevant candidates. We conducted competency based face-to-face interviews with over 50 of these candidates, before presenting a shortlist to the client. The client chose to take 21 candidates to first round interview.
